We did the Round About tour with RJ last September and had a great time. What a story teller. What he doesn't know he will make up. True Newfoundlander!

I love this wonderful Island. It is a great place to take tours and see all of the icy things Newfoundland has to offer. I would really recommend taking a tour with rjtours because there is so much undiscovered scenery to see. A++ service. Will tour again!

Had a great time exploring the area around St. John's. Dave, gave great information about the different sites and did not rush us. He also showed us an additional site not on the itinerary (Fort Amherst) which was nice. We got dropped off in any location we wanted after the tour, which was great.

Hey!!
Got stuck with rainy weather for most of my vacation, but decided to take a chance on a tour. Ended up visiting Signal Hill, Petty Harbour, Cape Spear and Quidi Vidi. All places were fabulous and interesting... and oddly enough, deserted. The joys of sight seeing in the rain!!
I had a blast! Thanks for the info and fun times!

Hi Davis,

Thank you for an amazing tour of St. John's. It was a very enjoyable visit and both my brother and I enjoyed every ounce of it.

RJ Tours is definitely recommended if anyone is planning a visit to Newfoundland. My brother and I went for 4 days and we called Davis a day before our tour, taking a stab at the availability.

We got a customized tour of Middle Cove, Cape Spear and Petty Harbour. Here are the things we both loved about Davis and the tour itself:

- Davis has lots of fun stories for you and even though there were only two of us who went that day but it was as comfortable as it could be!

- Unlike most corporate tours and any other tours, Davis will let you look around and enjoy the trips on your own pace. That's right, you get to trek up the Cape Spear on your own time, take numerous pictures of Petty Harbour and he will patiently wait for you.

-He will drive you back to your place of stay (or maybe even anywhere you'd prefer around the city.)

-Davis is very hospitable and a true Newfie!!!

Thank you again for that great day of touring!

Erik..... and his brother Ervin. :)

Hi David - back home in Switzerland and still full of all the impresseions about NL. You made them possible - even 'Mistaken Point' where you waited for this crazy Swiss for 5 (!) hours (just because she wanted to see the fossiles (or rocks ). With you everything is possible and you fulfill the wishes of your guests if ever possible. That's also why I booked after the first trip two other ones. Travelling with you is a great pleasure and - especially for a woman travelling alone - save and confortable. You take care of your guests and make them feel like a good old friend! Not to forget our amazing conversations and laughter! Whom ever I get to know to go to NL I will definitly recommend R J Tours! Just loved it!! Thank you again for what you made possible, David! Memories are even better than pictures (remember the moose ?)

I had the pleasure of joining RJ Tours on a recent trip to Newfoundland. Not only do I feel that I got to see Newfoundland's hidden treasures, but that I've made a friend for life in Dave Evans. His stories and insights make a good tour, great - and I would not hesitate to recommend his company to anyone planning on a visit to this jewel of a province. Thank you, Dave!

Great service.
Very informative.
I did the "Colony of Avalon" tour but they took us to Petty Harbour which it was a very nice extra.

Cheers,
Angela.

We recently spent 11 days vacationing in Newfoundland, our first trip to that beautiful province. While we had some trepidation regarding where to sight see and how to secure lodging, we actually had no reason to worry. We were extremely fortunate to take two tours with RJ Tours in St. John’s, whose proprietor, David Evans, provided us first with superb tours, and then informed us where we might tour on our own and arranged lodging at B & B’s prior to our arriving at suggested destinations. We simply could not have expected such excellent service. David is knowledgeable, helpful and dedicated to providing an enjoyable, client-centred experience.

We highly recommend RJ Tours for any travelers to Newfoundland, be they newcomers or seasoned travelers.

Sincerely,

Goldie and Ernie McDonald

Hiya Dave (s),
Younger and older, it was a great idea from the tourist centre when they recommended your tour. Our visit to New Foundland was soley to trace my Irish heritage but your tour of the "loop" showed us the natural beauty of your lakes, oops!! ponds, scenery, villages and towns. The whales were special. Your commentary amusing but informative.
Special thanks for taking the time on our last day with no prior notice in agreeing to take us to Petty Harbour and Pearces cove. It concluded a brilliant holiday.
You will be first on our list to contact when next in New Foundland.
